Hi, I’m Aina – the founder of Mimi Barcelona and a proud mum. Although my journey started in Biology, life had other plans. I moved to Barcelona to study Marketing, and eventually settled in the UK, where I embraced motherhood.
During my pregnancy, I struggled to find baby accessories that were both affordable and beautiful. I wanted products that reflected the warmth and charm of the Mediterranean without breaking the bank. That search led to a simple idea – why not create them myself? And so, Mimi Barcelona was born.
Our roots go back to 1957, when my grandfather Antonio opened our family’s textile factory in Barcelona. His love for quality and craftsmanship still guides everything we do today. Here's one of my favourite pictures of me with Avi – a tribute to his timeless legacy.
